Teja Mettu is an upcoming South-Indian American filmmaker dedicated to paving the way for a genre of "indo-surrealist" storytelling. His short film "American Ball Game" premiered at Seattle International (SIFF) and SanFrancisco International (SFFILM), winning grand jury mentions at both Academy Qualifying festivals for its "expert use of comedy and absurdism to convey a poignant social commentary." Teja's a Film & TV major at NYU, but has his roots in Dallas, TX.
