Through their work in writing, acting, and music, Tay touches on universal themes such as love, loss, hope, and redemption. Their screenplays cover a broad range of genres, including sci-fi, coming-of-age, and heist films, each with a unique perspective that sets them apart.
Not only a gifted writer and actor, Taylor is also a multi-talented musician who creates experimental rockabilly punk, indie pop, and folk music. Their musical talent adds a depth to their storytelling that elevates their creative output.
Taylor has faced their own challenges, including struggles with addiction & homelessness during their teenage years in Toronto. These experiences have shaped them into a person of integrity & have inspired them to create and share beauty & hope with the world.
As a lover of classic cinema, Taylor highly recommends the German expressionist masterpiece "Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" for its impressive set design, lighting, and use of body language and silent acting.
