Meet Taylor Kerr, a Montreal-based storyteller with a passion for exploring the depths of the human experience. Through their work in writing, acting, and music, Tay touches on universal themes such as love, loss, hope, and redemption. Their screenplays cover a broad range of genres, including sci-fi, coming-of-age, and heist films, each with a unique perspective that sets them apart. Not only a gifted writer and actor, Taylor is also a multi-talented musician who creates experimental rockabilly punk, indie pop, and folk music. Their musical talent adds a depth to their storytelling that elevates their creative output. Taylor has faced their own challenges, including struggles with addiction & homelessness during their teenage years in Toronto. These experiences have shaped them into a person of integrity & have inspired them to create and share beauty & hope with the world. As a lover of classic cinema, Taylor highly recommends the German expressionist masterpiece "Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" for its impressive set design, lighting, and use of body language and silent acting.
