Sarah Leigh is a neurodivergent writer-director, actor and advocate from the U.K. Her work is focused on raising awareness to social issues and promoting inclusion & accessibility both on and off the screen. She is the founder & owner of INCLUSIVITY FILMS. As a writer-director, Sarah is currently in pre-production for the film, ONE DAY, based on her own experience of raising a child with a disability. She also wrote the shorts HIDDEN and SHIELD and has a female-led pilot in development. Sarah will be directing the short, TYPICAL?, this summer, where 90% of cast identify as having a learning disability. Sarah also runs the talent agency, INCLUSIVE TALENT, representing disabled actors on screen and stage and pushes for inclusive casting within the industry. Acting credits include the title role in the 2015 independent film GOODNIGHT, GLORIA, and the recently released films SILENT NIGHT (2020) and HEART OF HOPE (2021), both of which can be found on Amazon Prime, iTunes & other VoD platforms. Theatre includes A NEW DAWN (King's Head Theatre/The Union Theatre), TWO BOYS (English National Opera), & Patrick Marber's CLOSER. Sarah started her career as a news journalist and has also worked for the US State Department under the Obama administration. She is a documentary fan and has plans to develop a doc around accessibility and the equal rights of disabled children.
