Ryan Brown

Ryan Michael Brown is a director, producer, and writer with over a decade of experience in independent and studio film productions. His award-winning debut feature film JOSEPHINE DOE sold world rights to Random Media in partnership with The Orchard at the 2017 Cannes Film Market. An MFA graduate of the American Film Institute, Ryan’s thesis film WAITING FOR SPRING has been an official selection at festivals including Beverly Hills, HollyShorts, AFI Fest, and LA Shorts. He is an Assistant Professor of Narrative Film at the University of Connecticut - Stamford and humanist whose work explores existentialism, theology, and the power of perspective. He is currently in development on his second feature RAISING A FATHER.
