Roya is a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts majoring in Film and Television and minoring in Producing. Co-founder of Ladytrap Productions, Roya has dedicated her time to pursue her passions in directing, producing, and writing by working on short films, music videos, and specs. Currently, she is in pre-production for two short films and in the festival run for her film, “Family Business.” In her work, Roya always aims to focus on the more difficult stories in hopes to include underrepresented individuals in front of and behind the screen.
