Giselle Bonilla graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Film & Television Production. Giselle was a child actor before studying to be a writer/director. The opening monologue of her thesis film won the Horizon Award last year at Sundance (an initiative created by producers Cassian Elwes, Christine Vachon, Lynette Howell Taylor, and Alison Emilio to highlight young female directors), and allotted her a grant to finish post-production. She is currently working as an actress in Los Angeles while prepping for the festival circuit this coming year.
