Artemis is an Austin based director and editor from Greece. She is the editor of award winning Documentaries , short films and TV shows commissioned by major Greek and European TV channels (ERT S.A, ARTE, ZDF) and the Greek Film Center. She is a versatile director, working across genres both on comedies and dramas. Her short film Calling (2017) is a recipient of the Austin Film Society Grant 2017, premiered at Austin Film Festival and was selected for the 2018 Texas Filmmakers’ Showcase. The short live action-animation short comdey Charlotte and Charlie (2018) written and produced by HBO Access fellow and Texas Native Katherine Craft, premiered at SXSW 2018, Faces of Austin and was awarded the Judge's Choice Award by the Austin Cultural Arts Division. Artemis has a BFA in Drama & Theater Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is currently pursuing her MFA in MFA in Film & Media Production from the University of Texas at Austin. She has also attended various film making and storytelling workshops, programs and seminars at accredited institutions through out her professional career: European Film College (Denmark), University of Glasgow, London Film School, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and directed short films in Greece, UK, Denmark and USA.
