Erin Macdonald is currently based in Los Angeles working as a science consultant and writer. She has a PhD in Astrophysics and previously worked in research (overseas in Scotland), education, public outreach, and aerospace engineering before finding her place in the entertainment industry. She is currently works for the Star Trek franchise, where she discovered her voice and passion for writing genre television, and is currently seeking her first staff writer position.
