Camilla Hall, a former U.S. Banking Correspondent for The Financial Times, turned to making documentaries nine years ago. She is a documentary film director known for her Tribeca hit COPWATCH (2017), her Storyville/Arte feature GARENNE (2021) and SUBJECT (2022) which she co-directed with Jennifer Tiexiera and which was nominated for Best Documentary at the Tribeca film festival.
She recently directed two episodes of KINGDOM OF DREAMS, a new high-profile series on the rise of luxury fashion for Misfits Entertainment, Sky & HBO Max, which aired in late 2022. She produced the Emmy-nominated CIRCUS OF BOOKS, now on Netflix, and Rita Baghdadi’s Sundance 2022 film SIRENS. Camilla is an Executive Producer on BLACK BARBIE: A DOCUMENTARY, which premiered at SXSW this month. She is focused on character-driven stories that have societal value and enjoys finding the universal message in unexpected stories. She has filmed all over the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa. She is represented by Stern & Wild and the co-founder of Los Angeles-based production company Lady & Bird Films alongside Rita Baghdadi and Jennifer Tiexiera.
