I chose to tell this story because I wanted to explore when close friends or family have to move away or leave each other. I have always been haunted and deeply curious about these moments in our lives, and I wanted to depict the range of emotions that can arise during them. I particularly wanted to show the difficulty in dealing with this situation between two people who have many differences between them, and the individual ways they deal with having to say goodbye to each other.
