About this submission
An ongoing story about my Mom, local to Detroit and her boyfriend, local to a city outside of London that I never am able to make out over phone distortion. They met at an airport in Minneapolis. Enjoyed a 'holiday' of a relationship for just a few months, before the pandemic separated them for seven months. I wondered, how could they endure the uncertainty of when they would be able to see each other again? How would they overcome the loneliness and solitude of quarantine? I meet Keith for the first time, and see if I can learn a thing or two about love.
