As a child myself who grew up within the Chinese education system, I am also very fortunate to have received a diverse and inclusive education. This environment has developed my ability to observe and discover what my peers around me are experiencing, and use that as inspiration to adapt my stories. The educational environment in China is particularly intense, and sometimes incorrect family pressures may lead to negative behaviors in children. So I wanted to make a short film on this topic to amplify this social issue.
