Personally, I grew up loving the horror/thriller genre and I always wanted to make films in that area. As I was was learning more about how the film industry works, I discovered how hard it can be to pave your way. I've heard stories left and right from people desperately trying to find roles/jobs, so I wanted my main character to represent that as well as mental health struggles such as anxiety, that come along with it. Lastly, I was really inspired to see more deaf representation in film and wanted to make a film that everyone could watch.
