Suspension in the act of piercing the skin with hooks and being suspended in the air from your flesh. Historically used in sacred rituals and ceremonies to experience penance, it is now used to express connection to the body, mind and spirit.
Rather than focusing on scars and pain I show the connection, trust and power with the suspendee which in this case is myself.
