I chose to create this story due to the magnetism of the poem which narrates the film. I personally related to the core and purpose of what was being told within this narrative and could sense that many other Latinx people could relate. I just wanted to capture a moment and create a sequence that enhances the original text. I wanted to take anyone that watches this to be taken somewhere.

Synopsis:
a 21 year old college student narrates her experience so far pursuing a career and life in the states surrounded by the politics of undocumented citizens.
