So Below is a short documentary about my close friend, Alex James. I wanted to explore a line between a film for both audience consumption and a personal letter to a friend, utilising multiple visual storytelling techniques, such as animation and AE compositing alongside docu-style live footage.

The documentary explores the Alex's fear of the water, a repercussion of his cousins passing on the Cheeki Rafiki in 2014. The film delves into his emotions pre and post such an event.
