About this submission

Ponderosa, a film about a woman in trouble. She weeps, she prances, she ponders. This short explores the process of human thought in peculiar situations. I let all my abstractions loose to let them create a world for themselves, and then added a simple and straightforward story to the mix. Thus, this short was born. Though seemingly bewildering at first, the "abstract" acts as a veil for the simple undertone of the film. The ambiguity is left up to the viewer, for the connotation is very simple when viewed by modest eyes. Thank you very much!

His cinematic style is directly inspired from 60's and 70's cinema, notably from figures such as Corbucci, Jodorowsky Altman, Hill and Wang Yu. more...
