2020 New Frontier Story Lab
Live Online Learning
Welcome to the New Frontier Story Lab!
Born of the 40 year history of the Sundance Institute Labs, the New Frontier Story Lab is organized to give fellows the opportunity to break apart their projects and engage in a creative process that values generosity, discovery, and the deep work of developing their story. Our focus throughout the lab will be on the vision, the characters, the story structure, and the ways in which each project uses technology to innovate and engage an audience in different storyworlds, with new mediums, or across multiple platforms.
Designed as an online experience in 2020, the lab will include experiential cohort exploration, one-on-one meetings with Creative Advisors, conversations that explore the intersection of storytelling and technology, social engagement, and case study presentations of leading-edge work in this space.
