KINDRED KINGS is a poetic visual piece that explores freedom and true versatility for the black man.Since the beginning of time, society has tried to break black men. From slavery to incarceration to even police brutality. We, as black men, sometimes play into this idea as well, within conversations about toxic masculinity: what it take to be a “real man”, or the argument of being “hard” or “soft”. KINDRED KINGS is illustrating the journey for us to remember that black men are Kings, Kindred Kings. And as Kings, we get to decide the new narrative for the black man.
