Two soldiers are trying to reach their base, away from enemy lines, during a nameless war. One of the soldiers has been wounded. They stop by the shore to rest, in which the wounded soldier begins to contemplate his existence and experiences a reality different from his own. Based on the poem "False Dawn" by Joshua Smith.
