About this Course

Eliciting the performance you want from an actor is one of the most important roles of a director -- and one of the most challenging. In this live, online eight-week course, acclaimed Los Angeles acting coach, Lisa Robertson, will guide participants in exercises and teach them how to break down their script for narrative and psychological transitions. She will explain the fundamentals of directing actors: how to communicate and how to approach rehearsals and the set. Participants will leave with critical tools they will need to direct actors and more confidence in their leadership on set.

The course will be held live in our virtual classroom. All sessions are recorded for registered participants who are unable to attend live.
