While visiting relatives in the UK, I fell in love with a girl from Australia. With a the budget of an eggplant, we took on Europe, shared new experiences, and made lifelong memories. Then six weeks later, said our goodbyes at Heathrow Airport.
Upon arriving back home to Vancouver, I carried a deep sadness, and regret not taking the chance at long-distance love. I sought advice from my closest friends, who coincidentally, were also working through their own long-distance narratives.
In an effort to understand why we throw ourselves into such a seemingly vicious cycle, I pick up my camera and document our lives and love.
