With technology taking up a huge part of our daily lives, I found myself easily distracted by and emotionally attached to my smartphone — the one thing I spend the most hours on every day. With detaching from the screen becoming almost impossible, I kept asking myself: What if a human and a phone become one?
Infused with body horror and some dark comedy elements, I made “ATTACHED” to tell a story about habit and addiction with the reflection on the impact of technology. It is also my another attempt to push boundaries of my favorite horror genre.
