About this submission

I met Nadir one day while I was out taking pictures, wandering aimlessly around the city. We hit it off immediately and started sharing stories. I took a few pictures but realized how much better it would be to let Nadir speak for himself. I asked him if he wouldn't mind letting me film the rest of our conversation, and the story pretty much told itself from there. It's rare to meet somebody with the kind of sensitivity, humor, and genuine pathos that Nadir brings with him everywhere he goes. But if you do, you should film them.
