About this Video
The film is an intimate autobiographical documentary following a filmmaker from Kolkata as he wanders through Paris, searching for memories of his childhood and home. One day, he lands in a park where he encounters strangers gathered in music and conversations. As they speak of dreams, language, and memory, the park becomes a living crossroads of migration and longing. In communicating their dreams and memories to one another, they create a fragile but powerful sense of a shared belonging. And in that exchange, the filmmaker too finds what he had been searching for, a familiar feeling he calls home.

Aritra Biswas is a filmmaker based in Mumbai, but often finds himself working on stories and in spaces across the world. He graduated with a Master’s in Cinematography from Whistling Woods International.
He has been drawn to storytelling for as long as he can remember—using the camera to explore people, places, and the emotions that connect them. His work in nonfiction reflects the quiet poetry of the everyday, drawn from noticing what often goes unseen. Alongside his personal projects, he directs and shoots music videos and advertising films, bringing the same curiosity and care to every frame. His journey began in the advertising industry as an assistant director and editor, but it’s the human side of stories that continues to drive his work today.
