Clement Akran

Clement Akran is an educator, strategist and cultural curator with over 15 years’ experience designing and delivering impactful programmes across education, enterprise and the arts. He recently co-curated the Africa Day programme at Cultural Hangout Festival 2025, blending film, culture and public dialogue, and is currently a strategic partner for Black Tech Day in Birmingham. As founder of Cottage Factory and host of the Founder Voices podcast, Clement works to amplify underrepresented voices across the UK and Africa. He is passionate about storytelling, cultural exchange and creating inclusive spaces that nurture emerging talent and global perspectives.
