Yusef Ferguson

This is a story of migration, specifically the migration many Black Americans took west in search of better fortune. I have recently uncovered archives of my own family's portion of this history and it is a story that demands to be told. It is a great American saga that affirms our place in this canon while also bringing up questions of home and identity. This story very much chose me and my goal is for it to continue to be a living and evolving piece of archival history.
