Yukako Fujimori

I decided to direct this story because I wanted to show how horrifying it is to be a woman and to apply it to the horror genre where most of the time, Asian women get killed off. This film reveals the horrors of women’s realities when they are restricted from knowledge and abused by constructs built by men. I feel there’s an urgency of women of color in horrors to succeed and to have their own future.
