Post operatic vocal training at Boston Conservatory, Xanna Don’t made a name for herself in the early 1990s: “The Country Queen of Boston” (BOSTON HERALD). Accomplishments: opened for Devo and Lucinda Williams; played CBGB’s and The Bitter End; showcased for SXSW (1994, 1997); appears in films “A Slipping Down Life” (Sundance/SXSW), Chet’s Last Call: A Story of Rock & Redemption (2018), and “Office Space;” created/produced SXSW’s first all-LGBTQ music showcase (2001); Entertainment Editor for Atlanta’s lesbian magazine; Contributing/Interim Editor of ATL Free Press; music preview for Atlanta Pride’s official guide; screener Atlanta Film Festival and Seattle Queer Film Festival; judge Seattle Pride Idol (2013); Contributing Editor Seattle Gay Scene; accepted into and completed: five courses for Sundance Collab’s Episodic TV Writing program, Sundance's inaugural Comedy Writing and Adapting IP Intensives, and a comedy screenwriting class with veteran David Letterman staff writer Steve Young. Winner, Sundance Writers' Cafe Prompt Challenge (2022).
