Liquid Ice Ice Baby -- the story of a scientist becoming increasingly insane as he tries to complete his lifelong experience -- is a story dear to my heart, representing an abundance of the thematic ideas I aim to represent within my work: routine in the face of unpredictability, the lies/delusions we use to assure ourselves, and the desperate acts we undergo to elevate ourselves beyond what we're initially capable of. These ideas remain part of the fabric of exciting dramaturgy, and hopefully my film, while comedic in tone, illuminates these universal themes with precision and grace.
