Thales Corrêa is a Brazilian-American writer and director championing Latinx narratives. With his latest series Doggy Bank, he made history by becoming the first Brazilian comedy to debut on an American streaming service, Amazon Prime. Doggy Bank is the proud recipient of Warner Bros. Discovery OneFifty grant in the esteemed New Narratives program. His work has garnered multiple accolades and nominations, with his most recent episodic series, "Poly People," was considered for an Emmy as Best Short-Form Series. His feature, "Bathroom Stalls & Parking Lots," earned widespread critical acclaim, a major hit at the qFlix Philadelphia Film Festival, and other LGBTQ+ film festivals. His short films, "Parents" and "Milvio," have bee screened in festivals worldwide, including the prestigious Cannes Short Film Showcase. Corrêa also worked at Google as their Video Creative Specialist and founded WE THE LATIN, an initiative dedicated to elevating Latin voices in the industry.
