Tayo Amos is an award-winning Nigerian-American filmmaker whose work has been celebrated at the Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Urbanworld. Growing up in a predominantly white area as a first-generation child made her want to tell stories about the outsiders forced to adapt to their surroundings.

Her episodic directing debut on Chicago Fire premiered to the highest broadcast ratings of the night, marking the return of series star Jesse Spencer. Amos is attached to direct Elite, starring Demi Singleton and produced by Federal Films, and is completing a blind script deal with NBC through Will Packer’s production company. In addition, Tayo was selected for Ryan Murphy's HALF Fellowship program and was also a finalist in the Academy Gold Fellowship for Women. She teaches directing at USC Film School. She speaks Spanish fluently and loves to play the ukelele. Amos is repped by IAG and Underground Films.
