When Anna Roberts is awakened with all her technology blaring the same message, her life is changed forever.

This is the first act of the first draft. Laurel Hartman is an alienated young woman who is drifting with no sense of purpose in her life. When hker father drags her back to his family's homestead in western Montana with the intent of selling the place and putting her 104-year-old great grandmother in hospice care to die; she begins a journey of personal discovery and finding something worth living for.

This is the first draft of my attempt to write this story as a short script. Please let me know if it works as a short.

This is the first ten pages to a longer screenplay. I thought it might work for the theme as humans are not the only ones to have first impressions.

This is the revised draft of the first ten pages of a work in progress. I am thinking of submitting this for consideration to the upcoming Sundance Screenplay Lab, so I want it to be the best I can make it.

I did these revisions based on constructive feedback on the previous version. Based on the suggestions made I was able to cut over a page off. I think it has made the story more clear and succinct, let me know if you agree.
