Jack Smart, Backstage Magazine Selena Mars is an award winning Artist who has been making a name for herself in the film and music industries for over a decade. She has written music and performed live with many Grammy recognized artists and producers . She is SAG-Aftra member and her film credits include actor, writer, producer and composer. She is signed with the acclaimed music firm Big Noise. Always a performing artist, she grew up doing classical ballet and won several singing competitions. Selena appeared in her first feature film at 12 years old and performed at the White House at age 13. Doors continued opening for her when she was scouted and hired as a back up vocalist/dancer for a world tour with several top 40 acts. When she was not on the road, her time was spent in the studio honing her craft with renowned vocal coach Katie Agresta. SM is dedicated to giving back and is involved in several charitable organizations.
