Neighbors Secret

I chose to tell this story to explore the moral ambiguity of human behavior. Inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky’s portrayal of the darker sides of human nature, I wanted to examine how our ideas of “good” and “bad” are often more complex than they appear. In Neighbor’s Secret, the focus is not only on obvious wrongdoing, but also on passivity, the choice to remain uninvolved when one could act or help. The film questions whether inaction can carry ethical consequences and suggests that a person may become morally implicated not only through actions, but also through conscious indifference.
