Ruth Pieloor

I'm a trained theatre actor, relatively new to screen, now emerging as a writer-producer. My short plays have won multiple Short and Sweet festival awards. I'm also a Drama teacher, Clown Doctor, proud MEAA Ambassador, resident writer with The Street Theatre’s HIVE program, Australian Writers Guild member, and multiple successful ArtsACT recipient, with 2 published works: UNDER MY BED Australian Plays Transform, and DEMENTED Currency Press, which was produced at ‘the Q’ Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre in 2022. My dialogue-free and first short film FOLLOW YOUR NOSE won a few local and international selections and awards. I have also made a documentary short. This year I'm studying full time - Diploma in Screen and Media at the Canberra Institute of Technology to expand my skillset to emerge as a long-form filmmaker writer-producer.
