I’ve always struggled with allowing myself to show vulnerability and ask for help when needed, to the detriment of both my health and the depth of my relationships. Because of this, I have often felt split between my private and public life. So, in an effort to convey the depravity and disturbing nature of this sort of daily surgical procedure, I wanted to craft a darkly comedic, psychological body-horror story about me and - I hope - about anyone who can relate to the feelings expressed in it.
