Richard Blasucci

Dick Blasucci began his career writing for SCTV, the NBC late night sketch comedy show. While on SCTV, he won two Emmy Awards for Best Writing and was nominated nine times.

Other writing and producing credits include: MAD TV, THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW, THE TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW, comedy specials for HBO, including, I, MARTIN SHORT, GOES HOLLYWOOD, BILLY CRYSTAL: DON’T GET ME STARTED, and MUPPETS TONIGHT, which won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Program.

He is currently writing and producing the SCTV Anniversary Special for Netflix directed by Martin Scorsese and teaching writing classes in sketch comedy at Pepperdine University and for the Harold Ramis Film School at The Second City in Chicago.
