When a young couple stops for the night at a small town motel, the destination turns out to be much more important to Jane than Henry knows. She sneaks out in the morning to speak with the manager at the front desk and, through a series of coded questions, their conversation reveals she knows about and hopes to visit the motel’s covert underground abortion clinic. The manager helps her through the process, but when Henry wakes up to find his girlfriend gone, a police officer’s unexpected arrival threatens to expose the whole operation.
