Rebecca Moline

Los Angeles, California, United States

Rebecca Moline grew up in the midwest loving all things having to do with animals including documentaries she watched during Discovery’s Shark Week, and her favorite movies Jaws and Gorillas in the Mist. Once at college as a zoology major, the realities of chemistry, physics, and biology showed her that, nope, it was really the movies and documentaries she loved. UC Santa Barbara kindly asked her to find a new major and that was when her true passion came forth and flourished in Film Studies.

After UCSB, Rebecca was lucky to land her first job on a tv show working as Post PA on The West Wing. Under the tutelage of Tommy Schlamme, she quickly made the jump from Post PA to Post Supervisor. In her spare time, she also edited and shot animated short films with Don Hertzfeldt. Their short films won at Sundance, Slamdance, and numerous other film festivals. One of their shorts was selected at the Cannes Film Festival and another was nominated for an Oscar. She continued working in animation and was the producer of The Animation Show along with Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt. In 2009, Rebecca came back to live action television and for the past 15 years has worked as Post Producer on the shows Pan Am, Manhattan, Bad Teacher, Preacher and The Good Doctor. Episode 305 of The Good Doctor marked her television directorial debut. She’s since directed 7 episodes of The Good Doctor and directed episode 212 of The Irrational for NBC which will air in February 2025.
