Randy is currently penning three features for Warner Brother’s – STATIC SHOCK for DC comics, THE LOST BOYS with Johnathan Entwistle directing, and THE SCULPTOR – produced by Shawn Levy and 21 Laps. He is developing an original feature for Sony, with Oscar winning producers Amy Pascal, Phil Lord and Chris Miller producing, and is penning an action-thriller for Universal with Oscar nominated producer Marc Platt. Randy won a bidding auction to adapt NOTES FROM A YOUNG BLACK CHEF with A24 and Lakeith Stanfield starring. He is also adapting THE OPPOSITE OF ALWAYS for Temple Hill and Paramount Players. This is right on the heels of writing SAFETY, a Disney plus original, which released Christmas 2020 worldwide on the streaming platform.
On the television side, Randy was a writer for CHAMBERS – A Netflix original series starring Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn. He served as writer/co-producer on INVASION Tv series for Apple+ and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films, and is currently the creator and showrunner of WILD RABBIT, a geo-political drama with King Richard’s Reinaldo Marcus Green Directing. He has in development MUTINY – A Sports Anthology about the greatest Athletes and sports teams of all time with Universal Cable Productions and Amazon’s Freevee, executive produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He also created, directed and produced THE PROPHECY – A supernatural Podcast with Audible, starring Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, David Oyelowo, Daniel Dae Kim and Asa Butterfield. The latter, ranked as Audible’s #1 downloaded podcast of all time, is currently being adapted by Randy into an event series for Amazon Prime.
