Rachel Leibforth is a Film and Television Senior with a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Her first short film, Evanescent, is currently running the festival circuit, winning multiple awards. She is currently a General Production and Script Intern at NBC’s Saturday Night Live and a Development and Production Intern at Billy Magnussen’s Production Company, Happybad Bungalow. At NYU, she is the President of the Tisch Undergraduate Student Council, as well as the leader of the T48 Film Festival. She hopes to one day be a screenwriter, director, and or assistant director. She focuses on telling female-led stories, highlighting the experiences of those who are underrepresented in media.
