Lucio Castro

Director, Writer

Lucio Castro was born in 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2000, after graduating from Film school, he moved to New York to pursue a second fashion degree at Parsons. He has also made various short films including: "Steps for a Sexual Relationship" (Buenos Aires, 1999); "Honey we Shouldn't be Here" (NY, 2007); "It Goes Without Saying" (2009), "Alenka and the Cat" (NY, 2012), "With Mustard" (NY, 2015), "The Pentatonic Bag" (NY, 2016), "What Is To Be Done?" (Shanghai, 2016) and “The Black Thread” (NY, 2018). His latest short film "Trust Issues" (NY, 2018) was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival 2018. He's currently working on his first feature film.
