Bianca Beyrouti

Producer

San Francisco, California, United States

I am an experienced Bay Area producer and filmmaker of numerous narrative short and feature films that have screened at various national and international festivals. I am a key member of the production team at ITVS, where I support the delivery of the renowned documentary film series Independent Lens to a national public television audience. When I am not bringing socially conscious documentaries to the masses, I am in the throws of post-production on my first narrative feature as a producer, 'Bring Me an Avocado', helmed by writer/director Maria Mealla. Prior to joining the production team at ITVS, I worked at SFFilm and Sundance Institute as a fundraiser and event coordinator - both skills I continue to employ today as a film producer. I am a longtime member of San Francisco’s Scary Cow filmmaking collective, where I have forged successful collaborations on such acclaimed short films as Michael Phillis’s 'Mini Supreme' and Danishka Esterhazy’s 'The Singing Bones.' I am proud to have had these and many other films I have worked on screen at such prestigious festivals as Cinequest, SFFilm, Frameline, Outfest, and Cannes. As a queer woman of color, I also pride myself on having worked on numerous sets that are inclusive and empowering of women, people of color, and LGBTQ communities in every level of production.
