We live in a digital world, like it or not. I became fascinated with how this allowed friendships to bloom across continents, but also how it restricted them by creating friendship without shared experience or memory. The question of whether it's possible to truly share your soul across the internet is infinitely intriguing to me, especially having spent most of high school in quarantine, with the virtual world being my only place to connect with others.
