Natalie Turcotte

Natalie Turcotte is a Canadian writer-director of psychological dramas and coming-of-age stories. Based in Toronto, she is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's RTA School of Media, holding a BA in media production with concentrations in both screenwriting and television production, along with a minor in English literature. Natalie's directorial debut, NEVER & ALWAYS, won Best Short Film at the RTA School of Media's annual awards ceremony in 2023, and earned her the Bob Johnston Memorial Award (a $1,000 prize supporting film school tuition) at the Eye2Eye International Film Festival in 2024. Her animated short, HIS AND HERS, screened at the Tokyo International Short FF, won Best Micro-Film at the Roma Short FF, and reached finalist status at the New York Animation Film Awards. In May 2025, Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Toronto selected HIS AND HERS as one of eight films to screen as part of their flagship showcase. Find more about her work at natalieturcotte.com.
