Morenike Joela Evans is an Emmy-Nominated Director, Writer and Creative Producer known for her calm leadership, clear vision and positive vibes on set. She’s passionate about directing stories for TV & Film that are compelling, provoking and have heart through her production company MOJO Media.

Morenike has directed over 40 episodes of television in the single cam and multicam comedy, and 1-hour drama formats including Grey's Anatomy, Legacies, Quantum Leap, Guilty Party, iCarly, Electric Bloom, and Vampirina. She earned 2 Emmy nominations for directing Raven’s Home, and served as pilot Director for the MGM multi-cam comedy Act Your Age and Disney series Saturdays.

A former journalist originally from the DC area, she earned her Master’s in Film from American University and is a proud Prairie View A&M undergraduate. She’s married and raising two children in LA. If she wasn’t working as a triple threat in the entertainment industry, she’d be Janet Jackson’s backup dancer, a detective, or an archeologist--in that order.
