A young painter is forced to confront their past when an unexpected guest appears at their art gallery opening.I wanted to explore hurt, forgiveness, vulnerability and growth through this film. It was especially important to do this through the eyes of a 20-something trying to make it on their own in a big city. I also love incorporating other forms of art into my work, so I wrote this story around a painter hosting their first ever art show.
