Melanie Graysmith

Melanie is a writer, artist, and educator with a passion for everything creative. She can turn mere interests into serious study, evidenced by her love of language and culture that morphed into a degree in Japanese. She writes short stories, poetry, and film scripts from original work; her stories highlight inner struggles or significant turning points in women's lives that are deeply personal for the characters, and bring important life changes for them. Melanie has also completed a feature length script after short scripts and films; she is active in the SF Bay Area independent film community.
