Melanie Graysmith

Melanie is a writer, artist, and educator with a passion for everything creative. She can turn mere interests into serious study, evidenced by her love of language and culture that morphed into a degree in Japanese. She writes short stories, poetry, and film scripts from original work; her stories highlight inner struggles or significant turning points in women's lives that are deeply personal for the characters, and bring important life changes for them. Melanie recently completed her first feature length script after short scripts and films; she is active in the San Francisco independent film community.
