An interdisciplinary filmmaker and artist from New Delhi, India, my work navigates the emotional and political lives unfolding on the margins. Born in the resistance- rich region of Bundelkhand and raised in New Delhi, my cinema is deeply rooted in the textures of life - belongingness, identity, search for home. I am a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), where I studied film direction. And under the mentorship of Béla Tarr, completed my diploma film Rising Tide, which explores intergenerational conflict and land politics in a region marked by indigenous resistance. Drawing from my background in theatre and philosophy, I approach filmmaking as a space of poetic inquiry - one that holds room for stillness, contradiction, and intimacy. Inspired by literature, paintings, regional cultures, and the invisible architectures of power, my practice foregrounds the lives of people rendered peripheral by systems of caste, class, and capital.
